This mid-tier CA practice with an enviable reputation are now seeking to recruit an Audit Senior for their office. Newly qualified or an experienced auditor to join this rapidly expanding team as an Audit Assurance Senior, working with clients in a wide range of sectors.

The main duties of this role will include:

Plan audit assignments

Regularly work at clients premises as part of an audit team leading and supporting the team as required

Complete audit assignments, working with experienced managers

Engage with the client in gathering appropriate audit evidence and in feedback sessions

Create a positive impression with the client and conduct yourself with confidence and in a professional manner at all times

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Use knowledge from previous assignments to recognise and understand recurring issues and themes

Ensure that junior staff understand the objectives of the work set and see how it fits into the overall client work

Prepare financial statements for limited companies and similar entities

Requirements:

Recent audit assurance experience essential

Sound knowledge of accounts preparation essential

Recent experience in professional practice essential

CA or ACCA qualification preferred

Excellent communications skills required

Willingness to take responsibility and suggest solutions to problems encountered

Team player

Ability to work to budgets and deadlines

IT literate - Microsoft office, CCH Audit Automation and SAGE

Driver
